logo
this is my logo i have created a very simple logo with the two letters of my first name i felt that i wanted my logo to be bold and overly simple as i felt that if i put an enormous amount of effort in to the design i would in the not so distant future dislike and try to recreate my logo but i am very pleased with the simplicity of this logo i think that it is strong sturdy and goes with my style of design.
negotiated
these are the final pieces for my negotiated project, i feel that these peices will show a slightly more sophisticated side to my skills in graphic design, they were to be part of a magazine and were created to show someones diversity of friends in different friendship circles, i feel that these pieces are really strong eyecatching visuals and i am proud of the standard that i have managed to create these illustrations.
editorial, nick park 20 years
this is my final piece for my editorial project in which i chose to solve a brief for the london film festival, i chose wallace and gromit as i thought that this had the potential to be a very fun and creative subject i feel that i have created some great visuals using multi media this will be one of the strongest pieces in my portfolio and i think it shows my diverse skills in graphic design.
student union
this is one of my projects for the student union i have in my opinion came up with some very strong clever visuals useing local sayings "shy bairns get nowt"for the have your say day i think this is a great way to urge students to voice there opinion in college. and again i think with my witty idea useing a nusary rhyme that everyone is familiar with to provoke feelings about std's. "now you have it and you know it clap your hands"

i love this kind of detailed childlike illustration style the lines used for the background are quite common but i think they enhance the style massively, i like the loose typography where the outline is shifted slightly to the left in order to create highlights in the letters. i think that this type of style is very trendy at the moment and i would like to use and take influence from this type of style at some point in the future.
